Abbreviations in church records
Handwriting by different writers will be different - this also applies to abbreviations used. Here are a few examples of common abbreviations (see also https://community.familysearch.org/de/discussion/comment/463314/#Comment_463314):
I have just started to collect pictorials of such abbreviations - so this is work in progress (for some abbreviations computer generated images are included, where I didn' have actual examples at hand) - and you are invited to help 😊. If you find one of these during your research - please, post images or links here. Also - if you come across other abbreviations unfamiliar to you - post images or links here, and I'll try to solve this.

Hannß had already died previously ("selig"), Anna was his legitimate ("eheliche") and unmarried ("ledige") daughter ("Tochter").
