What is this occupation?

Please take a look at this occupation. I have highlighted a few different examples. It looks like Schistahrer, but I can't find that word in any German dictionary. Thank you!

Could it also be schiffahrer, a boatman? Is this a coastal community?

Edit: I see it's not a coastal community. Blücher is on a small tributary (Schaale, which quickly enters the Sude) that isn't far from the Elbe, but I don't know if those tributaries are navigable.

I agree with @JohnsonGreg that the word is: Schiffahrer = boatman, mariner

Thanks Greg and Robert. Yes, like Greg pointed out, Blücher is not a coastal community, but I agree that it looks like Schiffahrer. Thank you again for your help.
