Please help with correcting transcription and translation of death record year 1830
The source is from FamilySearch: Toten-Rodel, Staatsarchiv Bern, K Kirchdorf 14. See image for the source above.
Here's the corresponding death record on page 100, 5th entry for Bendicht Küenzi. I think my translation is correct, however I would appreciate if it was checked.
Thank you again!
Mort[uus]: 15 Novemb: 1830
Sep[ulti]: 17 Novemb: 1830
Bendicht Küenzi, Hansen sel. v. Jaberg, ledig. 60 2/3 J[ahr]:
Date of death: 15 November 1830
Date of burial: 17 November 1830
Bendicht Küenzi, son of the late Hans, citizen of Jaberg, unmarried, 60 years and 8 months old.

Just a minor correction: the abbreviations (Mort. / Sep.) "solve" the gender problem - for male/female it should be Mortui/Mortuae and Sepulti/Sepultae respectively.

It makes sense that "abbreviations" of these Latin words were used in the column headings. Thank you for explaining the two different forms of the words with their "word endings" and which one should be used for transcribing this record. I appreciate it!

Well - in a transcription I would leave the abbreviated form in column headings: usually you have both sexes on the page - if you want to expand it could be something like "Mort[ui/uae]".

I wouldn't expand the word and think your first suggestion to use the abbreviated form would be best. Thanks.
