Somewhat better 😉 … I have worked on it a bit - see attachment.

Thank you!

Hello Sharon,
I had second thoughts about the first line and discussed this on Geneal-Forum - which confirmed my revised explanation. The translation for "Einwilligung" in the context would be Agreement (not permission). As the case is somewhat complicated and might be of interest for other community members as well, I have described the situation in detail on https://community.familysearch.org/de/discussion/comment/458869/#Comment_458869.

I am sorry to say - this server is a mess again 😡.
The above mentioned detailed comments seem to be gone (don't ask me, why) - I do have a backup (Word.doc) - but can't add any comments right now (again - don't ask me, why). The text has been saved as draft - but I cannot confirm it.
I'll keep trying ... should I be successful, it most likely will be a new comment-number: just have a look at https://community.familysearch.org/de/discussion/127171/general-comments and scroll down.

@WSeelentag Sorry about the delay in your post appearing. It wasn't a mess up in the server. The system is actually setup to check for posts that might be spam. Because you had URL's in your post, it was flagged to be checked for spam. Unfortunately, the world we live in requires us to take precautions. We try to check these as quickly as we can. I have approved your post and it is available to view now.
Sam 😊

@Sam Sulser Thank you for your response. I agree - spam is a nuissance nowadays (was less of a problem when I wrote my first web pages in 1996) - but there should be precautions to prevent misunderstandings ...
I had posted this contribution, realised a typo - wanted to correct it (which is an offer for 4 hours) - and then it was gone. Not knowing what was going on, I re-posted (had the text prepared in Word, which I always do with longer contributions) - and the text would just vanish immediately (a couple of times). Then I checked whether I had any drafts (though I never asked for one to be saved) - found 3 (I believe) and deleted 2 of them. Confirming the last one was still not possible.
Conclusion: if you are doing any checks (e.g. for spam) and during this time functions like editing lead to chaos ... disenable the function and show a note like "please wait - contribution is being checked for potential spam".
I wish you success with this "project" 😁 ... Wolf

@Sam Sulser Sorry - forgot to mention (and I am not going to try edit my above post): there is still one draft of my posting around - showing up when I open the discussion - and will probabely prevent me from adding further comments.

@WSeelentag I think I know what you mean about the draft. If it's what I think it is, click on your pic in the top right corner and then drafts. See if you can see the draft you are talking about there. If it is there, you can click the X to delete it. Sam

Thanks for your research and detailed explanation. Very Interesting!

@Sam Sulser Thanks - but I know/knew that (and have done it before). After the latest experience I'm a bit hesitant, however, to do things like this - my confidence in the platform has suffered.
