This card was with my Grandmother Johanna Mertlich's papers that I inherited. I do not know how important the message is on it. There is a lot of writing. Is it possible for you to translate this for me or at least give me an idea of what it is about? Thank you very much, Shawna

Here's what I could make out, maybe someone else can fill in the blanks.
Meine liebe [Schw?] Mertlich My dear [Schw might be Schwester - sister] Mertlich,
Mir geht es noch gut. Hatten I am doing well. We had
einen sehr kalten Winter. a very cold winter.
Ich gehe nur fort wenn ich I only go away when I
