Died from a cold?
This 1792 death record in the Pfalz looks interesting but is too hard for me! I'm assuming 'werkältung' is misspelled 'erkältung' and the rest explains how he got the cold from being chilled, but can't work out the details. Help!

The word is Verkältung which is an older form for Erkältung.
The end of the sentence is und hitzigem Fieber. I cannot make out the meaning of the words between.

Perhaps along the lines of:
. . . died from a cold after getting a chill and hot/high fever at the B__chgutz?

I assume that the missing word is "Bachputz" which is cleaning of a stream

@Ulrich Neitzel , @Robert Seal_1 , @DeTe1955 Thanks all! I think they had some mills along the stream that goes through Mühlhofen, so it may have required 'cleaning' the stream.
