Does 'fur Pfaltz' make sense?
This 1725 birth record refers to Rohrbach in Bergzabern, Pfalz as 'in fur Pfaltz', but am not sure 'fur' is correct or what it means in this context, so advice welcome.
Would also appreciate a quick check of my transcription/translation, especially whether I got the sense of the 'Haben ...taufte und ... nenne lassen' construction right.
Thanks! Tom

The word is Churpfaltz, in modern spelling Kurpfalz, in English "Electoral Palatinate", see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electoral_Palatinate
Here is my proofreading of your transcription:
Haben Matthes Mantz Bürger alhi
er, undt Eva dessen Ehel. Haußfrau einerTochter tauffen undt Annam Mariam nennen lassen, Gevattern waren Casimir Steidel ledigen stands Friederich Steidels Bürger alhier Ehl. Sohn, undt Anna Maria auch ledigen stand Hanß Jörg Hoffmanns Bürger zu Rohrbach in ChurPfaltz Ehel. Tocheter.0
