I would appreciate if someone would correct my errors on this birth/baptism record. It is very similar to the 1850 record I also just posted. My main question is what the comments after the fathers name means. (First entry on left)

Name of Sponsors: 1. Johann Joachim Friedrich Dankert knecht in Niendorf;

2. Joachim Severmann (Nevermann?), knecht desselbst;

3. Carl Fritz Restorf, knecht in Niendorf

You were pretty close.

"unehelicher Vater nach eigenem vor mir abgelegtem Geständnisse" = "illegitimate father, according to his own confession made before me."

I read the name of witness #2 as "Nevermann". the "N" is the same as in Niendorf.

It is the same phrase here: unehelicher Vater nach eigenen vor mir abgelegten Geständnisse.

The second sponsor's surname is: Nevermann.
