I need help translating what is written about the parents of Augusta Hamilton, baptism #25. This record is from archion.de. The village is Friedrichswalde, Brandenburg.

I believe this was an illegitimate birth until the marriage took place.

You are correct: the couple married two+ years after the child was born.

Father's column: the child's father, Samuel Hamilton, married the child's mother 12 December 1841.

Mother's column: unmarried person Johanne Schirmer, illegitimate daughter of Charlotte Schirmer.
