Hello @Kent Gardiner,
Responses to your questions:
(1) Did Maria b 1842 have two illegitimate children and go to America?: Yes, Maria Christina had two illegitimate children: (1) Martin Ludwig (1865-1865) and (2) Lina Friederika (1867-1867). Maria Christina died in America. [I don't know what "/4" means.]
(2) What is the first name of the second child at the end of the list?: Lina.
(3) What is written below Martin Ludwig?: acknowledged [that Martin Ludwig is his child] by Martin Hassler.
(4) What is Wilhelm b 1872's middle name?: If you are referring to Wilhelm Scholl, the father, at the top of the page, he was born in 1812. His occupation, rather than his middle name, is written after "Wilhelm"; the occupation is "Straußwirth" = innkeeper at the sign of the bouquet (who sells wine).
(5) What about Luise Karoline? Did she get married in 1871?: Yes, she got married in 1871. I am unable to decipher what is written before "1871", possibly the place where the marriage took place. Below this a a note in parentheses which states the following: "(NB. geschieden)" = (Note well: divorced).

Beautiful work. Thanks for all you do each and every day. Hope all is well with you. They have made us shift coordinators on Friday afternoons! Should be interesting. And I thought I could cruise along helping people. No chance. Thanks Robert!!!!!!!

You're welcome, Kent. So what days are you at the center and for how many hours each week?

Robert Seal_1 Starting next week we will be there three days per week. Monday and Friday 1:00-5:00 and Tuesday 5:00 - 9:00. That is a total of 12 hours. Tuesday evening there are many groups of youth that come and work in the Discovery Center. They log onto an iPad type of device and walk around to different displays. They place their iPad device next to a 5 foot screen and do different activities. If you go to Activities on the FS website you get an idea of what they do. The youth love seeing who they are related to and what life was like in their country of origin. My wife really enjoys the youth and helps them to have a good time. They spend about an hour at the center. I like helping people with FS. On Fridays we are shift coordinators and are in charge of making assignments, seeing everything runs smoothly, and training new missionaries. When someone walks into the center my wife will greet them, find out what they want to do and assign them someone to help them. There are many different machines for people to digitize film, negatives, photos and VHS tapes etc. The best part of the center are the people who are absolutely lovely. Our shift coordinators on Monday are the Beechers who have served 13 missions! It is great fun but when they day is over I am tired. Thanks for asking. All the best, Kent

Wow, they keep you busy, Kent. Pasadena was a small center, with only computers and microfilm readers. I did Tuesday afternoons from 1-5 pm alone and Friday afternoons 1-4 pm with a partner, and one Saturday a month 11-3 alone.
