Links on Nebraska FamilySearch Wiki Need Updating
In using the FS wiki for Nebraska yesterday, I discovered that a link — nebraskahistory.org is now a gaudy junk foreign lottery or something or other site since maybe January 2022 according to whois.
I deleted the links on the FamilySearch Nebraska wiki Land and Property page but realized this link is probably all through the wiki pages for Nebraska.
In looking for a replacement I found https://history.nebraska.gov but found it difficult to find things — looks like it still may be in the process of being developed. In fact I had better luck finding things on it using Google search engine, but still don't have the hang of the site yet to replace links on the FamilySearch wiki for Nebraska that may be useful. Did find a listing, county by county of all documents etc., but even that was somewhat hard to find. I think I remember using Nebraskahistory.org in the past and found so many wonderful, useful things there, but now 😫
Bottom line, wish I did but I don't have the time right now to go through and fix the FS wiki for Nebraska, so perhaps this is something that needs to be a priority for someone to go through and work with.
