Could anyone assist with translation?

I just found a birth record for my husband's great-great-grandfather, Johann Ludewig August Wendel. It appears he was born 9 Nov 1813 (year is on top of other page). His parents appear to be Johann Wendel and Louise Wendten. Could someone help me with the other words? I am especially interested to know what is said about "v Mollendorff" (below Johann Wendel's name). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS Interesting to note: Marriage of Johann Wendel to Dorothea Louisa Charlotte Wendten also mentions Mollendorff under Johann Wendel's name.

The records state that Johann Wendel is a retired soldier from the former von Möllendorff regiment [possibly referring to the regiment led by Wichard Johann Heinrich von Möllendorf] from German Lorraine.

I'd be happy to help with any other words you have questions about in these records. If you could list the link and/or reference information for where you found it online, the image quality is usually much better in the original online version (the images are pretty small when I click on them). Thank you for the info. I was wondering if he was related to von Mollendorff, but now I see the relationship was as a soldier.

Unfortunately, Family Search has the transcription of these records, baptism and marriage, but did not have the actual image. I went to Ancestry to see it. I am including the links in case you have access and have included what little I can decipher of the two documents. Any additional help you can provide would be most welcome.
