"Karolina Metzmayer, Gunzenbach

On 17th February, at 3 am, was born, and today evening at 5 pm was baptized Karoline, a legitimate daughter of Joseph Metzmayer, a farmer, and of Magdalena Lorenz […] in Gunzenbach.

The godparents were Katharina Kast […] and Andreaß Metzmayer, farmer and citizen of Untebeuren (?).

Witnesses:  Michel Jegler and Simon Hurle, farmers and citizens of Baden in Gunzenbach

Baden, on 17th February 1812, Joseph Lechleitner, pastor"
