What does "et uti mater assails soluti" mean? I came up with something to do with paying a fee.

Who is Mathias Thirmayr from Diefenthal? Is he the child's father? What role does he play in this record.

@Gina Palmer Mathias Thirmaÿr from Diefenthal seems to be Elisabetha's legitimate father; "soluti Mathiae Thirmaÿr" is written in the genitive noun case, which shows possession: "of the single/unmarried Mathias Thirmaÿr."

This genitive noun case also appears with the name of the child's mother, to show possession: " Johannes Georgius solutæ Mariæ Annæ" ("Johannes Georgius of the single/unmarried Maria Anna"), "hon. Joannis Pieringer et Elisabethæ ux: ejus" ("of the hon. Joannes Pieringer and of Elisabetha, his wife", "fil.legit. soluti Mathiae Thirmaÿr" ("legitimate daughter of the single/unmarried Mathias Thirmaÿr").

@KamillaKovacs3 I figured out the word is asserit = asserts.

So, I think it saying that the child is of unmarried Maria Anna (leg. d/o Johann Pieringer and his wife Elisabetha) and of unmarried Mathias (as claimed by child's mother).

The meaning of "uti mater asserit," if I'm guessing it right, is "as the mother declares" (as per the mother's declaration).

So it seems that the child's, Joannes Georgius', father is Mathias Thirmaÿr from Diefenthal (based on the mother's, Maria Anna's, declaration).
