Translation of German Death record
Is there a template anywhere that translates the German words into English so I know how the form is laid out? Year ago I found one for births and marriages, but I can't seem to locate one for death records. I am trying to translate the attached document. Here's what I think I know: Before the undersigned registry official today appeared, in person, [his occupation?] Emil Volker residing in Britz, and reported [occupation???] Gottfried Volker 79??? years old Lutheran (Evangelischer?) Religion, residing in Britz, born in Britz [no idea here what it means] Caroline nee Grunewald. [No idea here...] Volker [No idea here] Marie nee Blankenburg of Britz [no idea here] on 25 of August 1898 [ no idea of any translation after this]. Would anyone be able to help me translate this? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks, Jenny Volker

Robert-
Thank you so much. I am definitely going to have to look into doing the Old German script videos. I couldn't have done this without you. I really appreciate you taking the time to translate this for me!
