No. 8. On the 31st of January [1828] early at 2:00 am born in Segeten? and on the same morning baptized in the church was Martina, illegitimate daughter of the unmarried Elisabetha Kollborner** from Segeten? by birth. Witnesses are Benedich Böhler, unmarried from Segeten?, and Magdalena Stephan from Segeten? "Vikar? Menzer"

Comment: It is very helpful to the translator if you state where the record you are posting is from. This helps with identifying local place names. I think the place here is "Segeten" but there is also a place in the general area called "Segalen".

**Is it possible the surname is: Kollbrener?

I'm sorry. The record came from Herrischeid, Germany. I looked it up on the map and Segeten is very close. Thank you.
