Who were the parents of Heinrich Witt?

I don't know how this is supposed to work or whether this question is appropriate.

I would like to find out about the families of HEINRICH WITT and CAROLINA FREDRIKA WILHELMINA MEISTER. The family lived in Rojewo Neudorf, Hohensalza, Posen, Prussia. Their church was in Rojewo Kaczkowerdorf.

The following is what I know about Heinrich and Carolina:

HEINRICH WITT b. 25 Dec 1814

CAROLINE (MEISTER) Wife b. 14 Mar 1816

IDA HULDA AUGUSTE Daughter b. 15 May 1845

FRIEDRICH WILHELM Son b. 7 May 1848

AUGUST EDUARD Son b. 13 Jun 1850

They arrived in Galveston, Texas in 1860, from Rojewo (Rojewer Kaczkowerdorf, Rojewo Neudorf), West Prussia. Today Rojewo is located in central Poland, within a triangle formed by Torun, Inowroclaw, and Bydgoscz.

There were three WITT children who did not come to the U.S. Assume they all died in Prussia but have no proof. (Births from LDS film 715 041)

CAROLINE WILHELMINA Daughter b. 1839

ALBERT AUGUST Son b. 1841

FRANZ THEODOR Son b. 1842

I have reason to believe Heinrich's parents were Gottfried Witt and Eva Zielke, but have no concrete evidence to prove this. A researcher told me he thought Eva Zielka was the mother. I had a note from research at the local LDS library (in about 1990) with no source: "I - Georg F. Gottfried Witt m. Eva Zielke".

Also from LDS film 719 227 p. 44, #4, 1825 Dec 30:

"Gottfried Witt (age 72) b. abt 1753. d. 30 Dec 1825, Roj. Neudorf (Michael Meister identified the body) "

LDS film 719 224   (LDS 006) p. ?, #41 1823 Nov 18

"Marriage of George Witt and Caroline Meister in Rojewer Neudorf

George Witt son of Gottfried Witt of ?? and Eva geb. Zielke

Caroline Meister daughter of Johann Meister of Kaczkowerdorf and Eva geb. Conrad"

This is NOT the same Caroline Meister who married Heinrich (the couples had children born in the same time period). But, I'm fairly sure that George and Heinrich were brothers.

Ephraim Meister was in the US 1860 and 70 Censuses as "living with family". I believe, based on input from other family members, that Ephraim was Caroline's father.

I don't know what help you can give, but appreciate anything you can tell me.
