Jacobine Scholl death 7 Sep 1822 film 1025550955
Translation request:
This is a landmark translation. 1k Scholl translations to date. Amazing. Thank you so very, very much!
Jacobea Scholl was born 21 December 1776 in Graben, Germany to Wendel Scholl and Augusta Raicher. She married Peter Braun on the 27th of April 1802. Jacobina died 7th September 1822. That date is on her birth and record on the right side of the document. Her birth, marriage and death records are seen below. The interesting and yet depressing thing here is that she lost all 8 children in infancy. Very sad. Most of her documents have her name ending with an "e."

Wahooooooo Translations = 1K, AMAZING, WONDERFUL, UNHEARD OF, WOW!!!!
It is kind of funny to end on this one because Jacbone is in my direct line. Thanks for all you have ever done and continue to do. You are my example. We start our mission tomorrow!
The following happened at the Lehi FH Center recently: ( a little long but worth the read, I think you will appreciate this)
A large group came in for Discovery. (videos, interviews, photos to get youth involved)
They were all signing into their tablets. Two boys sitting next to each other were having problems. One boy was playing games on the computer. I nicely told him that was not appropriate; his name was Apollo. I touched the screen closing his games.
I started helping the boy next to him. When I went back to Apollo, he was playing games on the computer again. Once more I shut his screen down. I told him he could not do that here. I asked for his membership record number and helped the boy next to Apollo while I waited. Once again when the member of the bishopric came to give me Apollo number, Apollo was on the computer playing again. I said I am sorry I have asked you not to play that on these computers. The bishopric member unplugged Apollo's computer and told him he couldn’t use the computers for games.
He had lost the privilege to use it. Apollo slammed down the keyboard yelling that he hated the man. He hated the church, and he did not want to come tonight but was forced. Apollo got up and ran out of the room. The four men around looked at each other. I looked at them. It was silent, so I said, “Well, I am sorry he got upset but it is not appropriate to play on the computers here at the center. The member from the bishopric said it is ok Apollo is a difficult boy. One asked who is going to find Apollo. Finally, one said I guess it’s my turn, and he walked out. The Spirit told me to get the computer ready for Apollo, so it would be easy to just add his password. I asked the member of the bishopric to give me Apollo’s information and explained what I wanted to do. He said it won’t hurt, but Apollo is a difficult boy. Apollo would not come back.
Well Apollo came back I had him enter his password, and off the groups went to do discovery.
I help one other kid get logged in. Then went out to help at the screens.
My husband pulled me aside and told me that the two boys over there. He pointed to the bench in the corner where curled up and pressed into the pillar was Apollo. He did not have any famous people on his trees. Jerry asked if I could go help them.
I walked over to the boys and asked them to follow me to the computers so we could look at their trees and fix them.
Apollo just shook his head. “I don’t want to,” Apollo said..
I told him “Well, if you want to know what famous people you are related to, come find me, and I will help you. I walked away to help the other boy with his tree.
A bit latter Apollo came up to me and said he wanted to find some famous people.
We went to sit at the computer, and I asked him to sign in. He was belligerent but he did it.
I was surprised to see he had a full tree. And I wondered why he did not have any famous relatives? The spirit said to look closer, so I did. I saw that Apollos ancestors immigrated to America in the early 1900’s, that’s why Apollo had no famous ancestors. I told this to Apollo. He reacted and was on his way out of his seat. I stopped him. I told him how special he was. His tree was one of the great ones. His famous ancestors where from England, France, and Spain. They were kings, lords, Vikings and more.
I showed him how to go back in time on his tree. We found some lords and a king or two, and some Famous people. We got into the 1700’s and he started getting excited. Someone in his group got back into the 1600’s. He asked, “Can my tree go back that far?” We started going back as far as we could. His leaders came by to check on Apollo, and Apollo showed them whom we had found at that time. Along the way back we opened new tabs and did google searches to learn about the famous people we found in his tree. We got back to the 60 BC. Apollo was very excited. He had found 20 plus kings in his line and lords, and Vikings. Apollo lost the line and we had to start over.
Then we found he was related to Julius Caesar.
Apollo was over the top excited. He ran to get his leaders and others to come see. They took pictures with Apollo up next to the screen.
When it quieted down Apollo told me other kids bullied him and teased him.
I could tell he had built a wall around himself for protection. I told Apollo that those kids did not know who they were messing with. Apollo was a descendant of Julius Caesar. He was named after a Roman god, so they had better be careful. Apollo agreed.
We talked, and then the bishop came over and asked if I could help Apollo get names to go to the temple. They were going to do that the next week, and no one else thought they could get Apollo to do that. I seemed to be magical with Apollo. I told the bishop we would if Apollo wanted do. I turned to Apollo and asked, “Do you want to do baptisms for some of your ancestors. He said, “Yea!!” But he wanted to do more looking on his tree first.
Then the bishop came back and said it was about time to go. Apollo said he did not want to go. This was the best place he had ever been. And he wanted to stay. Apollo said that he had never felt so safe and love before. And he wanted to keep this feeling. I told Apollo that he could have that feeling whenever he did work on his family tree, even at home. I told Apollo he needed to go, and he knew it. Apollo sat there looking at his tree, and the tabs of famous people we had found. Tears came to his eyes as he said goodbye and closed tab after tab. He loved them.
Wow.
I left, and the group gathered, to leave. Apollo ran up to me and gave me a hug. Thanks, he said I have never felt so safe and loved before. One of the leaders wanted to get a picture of the two of us together so Apollo and I got pictures.
Then they started to leave, and Apollo came back to me. When do you work here, he asked? I told him and he said he would be back. This was the best time he had ever had. He was glad he came.
I am lucky I got to be a part of this experience with Apollo
