I'm trying to determine the age of the child buried on 3 Sep. It looks like the entry includes two references for age (see yellow underlined). The first looks like 4 weeks. What is your suggestion about the second reference?

The image is a copy of a microfiche image of Catholic record from Rottenburg in Bavaria.

I read the second reference as: 9 ann = 9 years.

@Robert Seal_1 Thanks. I think it might be another 4, instead of a 9. The author seemed to curve his 9s (see date on next entry)

Any idea why the entry would included two age references?

I didn't find a birth record for Adam, but did find his siblings born in 1720, 1722, 1724, 1726, and 1729. The death record was from 1730.

Yes, it could be a 4 rather than a 9.

I, too, am puzzled by the two age references.
