Slave records
Can anybody tell me where in family search I can find the Fridman bureau. Where is another good place to find slave records.

In FamilySearch click on the Search menu, then select Records. On the Search Records page type Freedmen in the search box. A window will pop up listing all the collections with Freedmen in the title. Another resource I just learned about yesterday is Slave Voyages https://www.slavevoyages.org. One part of this site is a searchable database of passenger lists of ships carrying people bound for slavery. There are over 63K names.
