Translation help

The attached image has a note regarding the spelling of the surname at the very bottom of the right page. I believe I understand the gist of what is written, but want to make sure I'm not missing something important.

This is what I think I see:

The record it pertains to is the 20 Jun 1771 baptism of Jurgen Heinrich Warning, son of Joch. Christ. Warning and Ilsabe Dorth. Soph. Schluns[?n] house owners.

Warneke geschr. [geschreiben?]

derselbe Vater nicht

Warning son[dan??]

Warnick heist[?] Weil: [Pastor?] Roper hatte

35 J. [Jahre] diesen familien namen

From what I can make out this note is explaining the different spellings of this surname in the different parishes. In the parish of Boitin's church books it is written "Warneke." [Not the same father?] Warning? Warnick [is how it was recorded?] by the Pastor Roper for 35 years? [last line I really don't understand at all]

Warnick heißt Weil: Pastor Röper hatte

Nachfolger dabei bleiben mußte"

My translation:

In the church book of Boitin the same name it is written "Warneke." Note: see year 1768, 5th October where the same father is not called Warning but Warnick. The late Pastor Röper had written this family name as "Warning" for 35 years, therefore his successor had to stay with it.
