A beadle is a minor civil or parish official with various responsibilites.
The first pargaraph in the following link provides a good overview of what the "Ortsdiener" repsonsibilites were: http://www.sondheim.eu/Historisches/ortsdiener_hirtenhaus.html Use the translate function to translate to English.
Here is another definition from the Cambridge dictionary: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/beadle Here I would think the second definition would be applicable.

Thanks Robert: FYI
Philipp Krauß was a Bürger or citizen in Graben as well as a Schneider or tailor and he was a soldier in the Duke's Grand infantry regiment. Philipp was born 29 January 1794 and died 14 March 1865. In 1856 Philipp Krauß was a citizen and local servant/beadle. Philipp's father is George Krauss, citizen and farmer in Graben.

Robert, can you please remind me what "servant/beadle" means?
Ulrich sent me information on what a police servant does. I believe the two terms mean the same. I'm wondering what the meaning of the word beadle in this context? DeepL isn't helping. You may have told me before but I can't remember.
Philipp Krauss did everything imaginable. Regards to you, Kent
