New search results

The new search results sorts by number of entries. I have never found this useful. I would always click on the column Title which would then sort it alphabetically. The new sort recently implemented does not have this option. Therefore, if I get 50 collection results I have to read through everyone to find FindaGrave if that is what I wanted. Similarly, if I know I am interested in Illinois, I now have to read through all 50 to find records associated with IL. I don't care if New York has more results and therefore is at the top of the list. This change has been frustrating.

Family Search has filters you can apply on a search that will give you just an area or a birth record. I think you will find these filters most helpful. However if you apply to many filters you may find 0 records.

FamilySearch has fixed the issue. Results are now alphabetical.
