What does this "dy" before the name on Finnish church records mean?

I am trying to find Jeremias Johanss' parents. The earliest record I have found him on is this one from 1849, when he was 19 and apparently living as a single, not with his family. I'm wondering if the "dy" can give me any helpful clue of where to look next, or what his role was in these places. Here are the links to two pages in the 1843-1852 Church Records where he appears in 1849 and 1850 both with the "dy" before his name.

The abbreviation is "drg" which is "dräng-farmhand/batchelor".

The confirmation record gives his birth as 11 July 1830, but there is no child born on that date in Saarijärvi and the only Jeremias born in Saarijärvi in 1830 was born 12 October, the son of Johan Ersson and Anna Mattsdotter in Häckila, Saarijärvi.

I have to stress that there is only a possibility that this is your Jeremias Johansson-I cannot find a direct link to the Jeremias in the household record and the confirmation record.
