Sviger Moder means mother in law so I wonder if that's it.

In looking at the entries above and below, I don't think it's Modr. sv. This record keeper had a odd way of making the letter "p." On the next entry down, he goes up with the pen as if to make a "f" or a long straight "s" but it's really a "p" for "par." for parentes (latin for parents.) So the first entry reads, Näs, Modr. p. (for piga) Katrina Ersd. It's just a really unusual "p."

Having also checked the Husf for the same time period, and seeing the same pastor's handwriting there, I agree that it has to be "p" for Piga. Thanks.
