Requesting help with finding a birth record
I am trying to find a birth record for Argante (or Arganto) Lucchese born on 07 August 1885. He was born where he lived in Pieve di Compito (Lucca Province). When I search through Wiki and on Antenati, there are no records for this village except from the Napoleon era. I suspect the more recent records including birth are being managed by another Commune near Pieve di Compito. Can anyone help me find either the record itself, or direct me to the Commune which could be the correct source. Thanks,
