researching the Akester family in Yorkshire
Can anyone help me find where Robert Akester ,a tailor, was born? he was married in 1756 at Holy trinity church Hull to Elizabeth Waff of Stepney. he was reported as born in 1733. I can find very little information on births in 1730 to 1735.

I had no luck searching in FindMyPast, but on Ancestry he is in a lot of trees, with quite a few records attached. His marriages, children’s baptisms, a voting record, etc. Have you tried searching on Ancestry?

If it is of any help, a Samuel Acaster christened 11 Jan 1731, died 25 Jun 1741, location, Sherburn in Helmet (Elmet), Yorkshire - child of a Robert Acaster. A possible relation?
