Answered--Transcription help for 1699 notarial record
Hi,
This is a testement of Sara Robberts Nelson widow of Jan Henricksz Groen (3rd husband) from July 1699 in Leiden. There are two different styles of handwriting used on the second page. I could use help with the transcription of even a couple of lines from each type by someone who can speak Dutch to help me better identify the letters. I am fairly competent at secretary hand in English. I am finding it harder to transcribe in Dutch! Missing a letter or two seems to change a word's meaning or renders the word untranslatable. Also, both myself and google translate (not the best tool for this) can not recognize 17th century phonetic spellings of words.
I believe I can see three nieces shown. Beginning in the center of the 2nd page they are: Catharina Haneman, Glende Roflij? and a Jannetge ?. I am hoping this testament helps find more extended family.
Any suggestions about who I can contact to hire for 17th century transcriptions would also be helpful! I've contacted several genealogists/companies. I have not found one willing to do that kind of work yet.

Susan, Catharina is mentioned as "hare nichte" = niece , and the one that reads Glende or Glande is mentioned as nephew"hare neeff"(old spellings), today i would write it as haar neef, or haar nicht.
Glende was a given name not a surname mostly foreign origin.If read as Glande i do not know it(i'm a Belgian), =>but Roblij would probably be written today as Boflij,and was a valid name in that days, altough rare.Apparently the name dissolves away to the colony's of the Dutch,and the new world.
Janne(ke)(tje). & Sara are both mentioned as nieces , written as "bijde hare nichten"
There is a dedicated forum for help in these matters,altough it is not a forum for geneologists,but for
Old-Dutch and Old Flemish language related issue's.Most of the members master the English language very well , are very polite and helpfull, and also very clever.
I would suggest to start a new posting there, under "nieuw onderwerp"-After you introduced yourself
