Film # 007762661 translation help
I found some Russian records I cannot read. I am wondering if someone can give me a translation of these headings and maybe point me to how to find Surname Dahmer in these record? They should be in colony of Beideck (I believe) -Luganskoye today - not sure in 1850s?.

Please see this guide for translations of the standard column headings in these tax lists-- https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/img_auth.php/e/e5/Revision_Lists_for_Germans_from_Russia_Research_-_Instruction_E_Vance_2020-270229_Jan_2020_JMR.pdf

Hi @genthusiast 1!
These records are indexed by location on this FamilySearch Wiki page: https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Revision_List_Records_for_Volga_Germans
It doesn't look like there are any entries for Beideck on the film you were looking at; however, we do have at the Family History Library some revision list indexes for the years 1775, 1798, 1834 and 1857 (See catalog entry for more info: https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/results?count=20&placeId=849995&query=%2Bplace%3A%22Russia%2C%20Saratov%2C%20Kamyshin%2C%20Talovka%22). These are books located at the FHL and I took a quick look and there are many entries for Dahmer. I'm not sure which ones belong to you, so probably the easiest way to get access to those records would be to do a Family History Library Lookup (which is free to you!). I'd do each book as a seperate lookup form and include the names, birthdates, etc. of the relatives you are looking for. The more information provided on the form, the easier it is for our volunteers to look it up. You can find the link to the page here: https://www.familysearch.org/family-history-library/family-history-library-records-look-up-service.
Hope this helps!
