Status of New Feature, Individual Source Document Indexing by a User
Some months ago I saw a video where a FamilySearch project manager said that a new "indexing" feature was expected out this year. The feature would allow users to "Index" a source, as if it had been part of an indexing project. This would allow an user to enter the data from a document into data fields attached to the document. This also would allow additional data fields to be added to an already indexed source. As I recall there was also talk about providing OCR of the document. Unfortunately I do not remember where I saw the video.
Does anyone know of the status of this feature?

FYI
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ I apologise for my belated response ... ]
Just a thought in passing ...
I do not know about a "Video" ...
I was just wondering whether you 'saw' that in the "Live, Q and A", with "Ron TANNER", from 'FamilySearch':

I do not know if this will help.
Good Luck.
