Need help with connecting my line with India-Nepal-Bhutan genealogy and doing geneo research there.
I have a geneo project that will connect my line through England to India-Nepal-Bhutan via the British who were in those countries and married people there. I'm looking for help on the India-Nepal-Bhutan end which also includes Pakistan and Bangladesh, of course. Once the India-Nepal-Bhutah families are identified I will go up those lines connecting them with mine. Anybody interested?

That sounds fascinating! Could you provide any more information at all about the family line you are hoping to pursue? Have you found any records in India-Nepal-Bhutan yet, or just know they are through England to that location?

I found one line that goes down my line in England to India then up to Mongolia but I still need to find the actual village in India that the person was from because my plan is to go to that village and go up the line from there through tax records. A mathematics professor at BYU who is from India went to his home village(s) and ended up getting 200,000 names. So I know it's possible.
The problem I have is that I have to find the actual databases so that I can identify the British people who married into those countries and identify the towns they were from on both ends. I'm just beginning on really diving into this so the first databases I looked at made you specify an individual in the database. I need to be able to go through the raw database.
There is a substantial group of people called 'Anglo-Indians' which are the exact people I am looking for so I need family trees or databases for them. If you know a link to them I'd appreciate you sending it to me.

It is even more confusing now, sorry. What is "your line?" it seems you are saying there is one database that will include that one line. Can you give the family line information that you have that shows your line is England - India - Mongolia? Without any names, I am unsure of how to direct you or help you. It would be so incredible to obtain records directly from the village in India! What are the "first databases [you] looked at" so I can get a better idea of what you are referring to?
Do you have any of this family on FamilySearch where you can give any person ID numbers so we can view the current tree and information you already have?
