Help translating this marriage record?
Hi all! I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help translate or at least transcribe this marriage record. I'm particularly interested in the wife and her hometown; I originally thought it said she was from Gedla (Jedli), but I couldn't find her or her family's surname in the area so I think I might have misunderstood. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

I am in a rush right now but I can tell you the bride is Catharina daughter of Wencesli (Wenceslaus) Heyl from Gedla (Jedli). Do you have a link to this record so I can see the year?

Thank you very much! I don't have a link on hand at this moment but I believe it is from Nov. 1st, 1769. I will pull up the link when I get home. I appreciate the help!

There is no index for the time period in Jedl around the time of Catharina. I looked in a slightly later index and did not find the surname Heyl but that does not mean she does not appear in the births in record set 7738. A page by page search needs to be performed probably from 1749 back. Y and I are interchangeable.
I will continue to look as I find time.

These are not the christening you want but they do show two villages you can check out. It also shows that the family name Heydl is in the town of Jedli.

I quickly browsed from 1739-1749 and did not see her but I might have missed it. I would check out Drosdov and Nemille. I am not sure when they post a village for the bride if that means she resided there or was born there. You could also look for her death record and see what year she was born.

I got some help with the place mentioned for the Bride. It is usually residence. Here is what they advised, " I usually research as if it is both. That is, look for births in the same village. If that fails, I try the other possibilities. When the bride and groom are from different villages, you sometimes find the first child or 2 in the bride's village (esp. if illegitimate) and then the couple moves to the groom's village. Or elsewhere!"
