Does merging two people cause their photos, documents, stories to be lost?
Say I add a profile photo, other photos, documents, stories, etc, to a person in the world tree. Later, someone else comes along and merges my person with their person who has no attachments. They choose to keep their person after the merge. Will all my attachments be lost after the merge?
Is there a place where I can test things in the FamilySearch tree? I seem to have read about such a place in the last few years. Then I could test the above scenario.

All memories come over with the merge and as far as I am aware there is no option to stop this.
You can test some things at beta.familysearch.org so take look there. I've never played around with memories their and the beta site doesn't have all feature.

Thanks. I tested it in the beta area and my attachments were not lost after a merge into a different person.
