Verbal Approval from an inactive son - but no email?
Kim (a patron in my FHC) received verbal permission from a son of her deceased cousin, to do the temple for his mother (who was baptized in the church). He gave his phone# and address, but doesn't want to give out his email. So when she filled out the online permission fields, she left this son's email address blank. But the form won't let her submit with any blank fields.
This doesn't seem right to me. If the Temple Department wants to verify permission was really given, they should be able to mail him a letter or give him a phone call. Why must it be via email address as well? It seems that any one of 3 possible contact methods should be acceptable. So Kim called the support line, and was told that "all fields must be filled in" - period.
Is the intent to really restrict proxy work for people born within the last 110 years?
