New here - looking for help!
Hi,
My name is Judith Pultorak Smith and my family and I have been trying to find my grandmother Mary Eva Pacovsky's arrival date and the ship that she was on when she came to the US approximately 1910. She married my grandfather Jacob Pultorak on January 28th, 1912 in Carthage, NY. We have documentation on her since my grandfather married her, but we have no information on her prior to this.
I would appreciate you helping us with any information on how we might be able to find this information.
My email is msmith04@rochester.rr.com and my home number is 585 392-6056 or my cell number is 585 752-6056.
Thanks for your help.

@JudySmith272 we are so glad you have joined our Czechia community - It is a great place to get help and to help others! We have a lot of talented, experienced participants here.
The best way to get help is to select Groups on the left side of the screen. Next select My Groups and then open Poland. Most of the time, it is best to "ask a question" - do this by selecting the arrow to the right of "new discussion". Asking a question allows you to accept the answer or let us know you would like more help. I am moving your request to a question, you will see it there. This will get the most attention that way.
ALSO, be sure to select the free consultation and get help that way as well. With this research, we want to access every resource we can. Schedule Now!
Be sure to review the links at the top of our community page for some great resources - we add new ones as we find them.
This reply to you will show as a rejected answer - I mark it this way so that your post will still show as a question and not show as answered because my reply does not answer your question, it just offers you some ideas.
Thanks for being patient as we wait for a response to come from a volunteer with the needed skill set. It would be good if you included the identification number of this person in Family Search Family Tree so we can see the bigger picture.
We look forward to your comments and questions.
Enjoy today! Cindy Jarvis

Hi!
We would love to help you find Mary Eva. Her name was probably Maria Eva.
I have found your family on FamilySearch and have added a few more sources like her grave on Find-a-grave and the 1930 census. According to the census she immigrated in 1909.
I looked in the passenger lists without success. I check the Hamburg Passenger list without success. I looked on Ancestry for a public member tree but could not find a tree.
Do you have a copy of her marriage certificate, death certificate or obituary?
You might take a look at https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Czechia_Determining_a_Place_of_Origin. You should still work on your US preliminary research as you need a place of origin in some immigration or US source. Leave no stone unturned.
