Thank you LWhitehead56; the translators must be very busy at this time. I was considering posting these requests on the German site because this is in the Alsace region and these people are German; however I think the records are written in French?

I believe you are right; the record looks French to me too.
If you do not receive translation help you might try posting on the French-speaking group. You will have to join and will probably need to use google translate to post your question in French.
