Do i have to use my husband account to show the temple ready of ancestor of his side?
I am helping a sister to do her husband's side's family tree.
His grandparents passed away in 1880 but the temple ready icon still shows "PERMISSION REQUIRED: this person was born within the last 110 years. Permission from close relatives required to perform this ordinance." which is not true - it already past 110 years (1880+110=1990).
Do you think she must use her husband's family tree account to apply the ordinances will be OK, without these "permission required" messages?

Hi
If the "permission required" is still shown on a person whose birthdate is more than 110 years ago, you might want to check to see if the birthdate is put in correctly. Check to see that a "standardized date" is selected as a non-standard date can cause it to ignore the date entered. If a birthdate is correctly entered and is over 110 years ago, then it will not require permission from a close living relative.
Here is an article that describes some of the other things that may cause the "permission required" message for someone who is older than 110 years:
Hope this is helpful

G'Day ...
IF, that "Knowledge Article"; as, proffered by 'Scott'; and, those Seven (x7) 'situations', does not help; THEN, ...
IF, you (and, of course, the Sister you are helping) are comfortable with providing the "FamilySearch Person Identifiers" (ie. PIDs) of the (Deceased) individuals/persons; THEN, post them here is this post of yours.
So that we can 'take a look'; and, 'see' WHAT is amiss (which, there would seem to be); and, hopefully, advise/help.
Whereas ...
IF, you (and, of course, the Sister you are helping) are NOT comfortable with providing the PIDs of the (Deceased) individuals/persons, in "Public", in this post of yours; THEN, like many, I am happy to 'take a look', if you want to send me a 'Message', directly through "Messages" in this Forum.
[ Just a 'Heads-Up" ... from a personal perspective ... I DO NOT put ANY of the PIDs of my Ancestors in my/these posts. ]

Some time last year there was a strange quirk reported that the program sometimes had difficulty with the 110 year calculation. People found that if the reservation claimed a person was under 110 but were not, if they completely deleted the date, saved the entry, reopened the edit box, put the date back in and saved, the the person's age was recalculated correctly. So try that.

Hi Scott, Brett, and Gordon,
Thank you so much for the suggestions!
I tried all your suggestions and still show "110 years rules". Brent, I will check with my patron to see if she would like to share PID here. If yes, I will share it with you.
