Can someone translate the image below? The writing (other than the names) seems like abbreviations.

@Susan0624 Susan0624 It's always helpful for us to have a link to the image so we can see the entire document. Forældres Navne = parents names. Ungk. = ungkarl, a bachelor Ole W. Bjorkman. Pige = maiden Anna Carlson.

@Susan0624 Susan0624 It is probable the parents seen for Anna Carlson KJG1-VBZ in FamilySearch are incorrect. A quick search shows this good possibility, but it is not documented so it's accuracy is not yet known.

Thanks, Shari. I have the actual parents of Anna and all her other information. What I need is a translation of the portion of the record I pasted. It is the baptism of Anna's daughter, Sophia. Anna had Sophia before she married Lars Valsvik and I'm trying to find if she was married earlier to Ole W. Bjorkman, or if he just fathered Sophia. I'm hoping the Norwegian writings/abbreviations on this baptism record will tell me that. However, I appreciate your time and response!!

Thank you! That answered my question of whether Ole and Anna were married. If he's a bachelor and she is a maiden, then no marriage took place. Exactly what I needed. Thanks much. 😀

That's great. Sorry if I caused any confusion. I didn't see a christening for Anna in FamilySearch tree so I was thinking you wanted to find her parents.

No confusion - no worries. I just needed to know if Anna was married to Sophia's father and you helped answer that question, so thank you again. BTW, I see we share a relative and are cousins of a sort. Nice to meet you, and thanks again for your assistance. I greatly appreciate you and the time you took.
