Determining vital date information from a Church Document

This is surely not the death of mother of the bride, but rather the death of the ex-wife of the groom. It's a church death certificate prepared for the marriage of course. It's unusual that even though she died after 1809, we still have a church death certificate rather than a civil one.
In any case, the certificate says:
Rocca di Mezzo, Church of S. Maria della Neve, 23 Jun 1826, died Maria, wife of Saverio Marinopiccoli, aged 36
Of course, using this death date, it's very simple to find the civil death record: http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/v/Archivio+di+Stato+di+LAquila/Stato+civile+della+restaurazione/Rocca+di+Mezzo/Morti/1826/3332/004962909_00527.jpg.html?g2_imageViewsIndex=0
On 22 Jun 1826, died Maria Cocciante, wife of Saverio Marinopiccoli, aged 36, born in Rocca di Mezzo, daughter of the late Agostino and of Lucia Marinopiccoli

Thanks Joseph. We are so fortunate to have members of the Italy Community like you who are willing to help with translation.
I learned something new from your post. I wonder if other countries or churches required a death certificate for the first wife before a widower could marry.
