A member I’m helping in the their Temple reservations - shows a number, but no names are displayed
I’m my search of the groups here, I see this has been asked before, but I am not finding any clear answer on how to correct this or figure out what has happened. Both in the FamilySearch App, and when logged into the FamilySearch via the web, when we go to their Temple page, shows 4 reservations, but the list of names is empty, and actually indicates there are no names to display. Yet the number in the title show (4) active reservations. Screenshots included here so you can see what I mean.
You can see in both places it clear,y shows there are 4 reservations, but both also clearly say, you have no reservations.! Any thoughts, ideas or help appreciated!

Interesting ...
Very Odd ...
Just a quick thought, in passing ...
IF, you have not already; THEN, can I suggest that you ...
CHECK the "Filter" ...
The "Filter" should 'Re-Set' after each access; but, you never know ...
I do not think that this will help; but, just in case, you never know ...
And ...
As an aside ...
Just as a "Test" ...
Select that "Check Box" next to "Person" ...
THEN, select that "Unreserve", NOT to do it, just to 'see' if you get a "List" of individuals/persons to "Unreserve".
IF, you do get a "List" of individuals/persons to "Unreserve"; THEN, check them out, that MAY give you a clue as to WHAT; WHEN; and, WHY is going on.
Probably will not help; but, I hope it does.

Thanks Brett. I did already check to make sure no Filters were selected. I also was sure that was going to be the issue, but alas, no. I will try your unreserved idea though.

Just had another passing thought ...
What about if there are "Possible" DUPLICATES, that need addressing ...
You know ...
When we attempt to "Reserve"; but, we CANNOT do ANYTHING, unless we address ANY "Possible" DUPLICATES, that appear ...
Just maybe, those Four (x4), are subject to "Possible" DUPLICATES; and, for whatever ( INCORRECT ) reason, they are NOT being "Displayed".
I would NOT think, that such would be the case; but, who knows, with all the "Changes".
And, another passing thought, was that, just maybe, those Four (x4) are NOW "Deleted" (ie. "Archived") individuals/persons from RECENT "Merges"/"Combined"; but, for whatever ( INCORRECT ) reason, they are STILL being "Recorded"; but, NOT "Displayed", in the "Temple" 'Tab', for the Member that you are helping.
There has been so many "Changes", that there are bound to be some ODD Problems/Issue, such as this.
IF, you find out WHAT is 'going on'; THEN, please let us know in this post of yours.
Curiosity has now got the better of me ...
'Thank You' in advance.

Hello @Mike Martin
I would suggest that you contact FamilySearch support.
Perhaps there are system restrictions for those individuals with the reservation, which prevent the ordinances from showing in the Tempe Reservation List.
FamilySearch support will be able to determine if that is the case. Username and Helper Number of the patron would be required. Attaching the screen shots would be useful.
For this type of question I would recommend the Send a Message option.
Since you are seeing the issue on two devices the following are unlikley resolutions but here they are anyway.....
Check the Operating System of the device. For details see
Also check that the browser being used is supported. For details see
Also clear the browser history. For details see
I would be interested to here what the resolution is.
best wishes

As this is happening across multiple devices, with different operating systems, and also across platforms such as Different Device Apps as well as on the Web browser access, using different browsers, I suspect that the device, cache clearing, etc would not be the issue, but never the less, anything is worth a try.
I can also now note, a second member has also approached me for assistance, for this exact same issue. This member can absolutely state that the names were there, showing the ordinances required, but have since vanished, but still shows that there are reservations (6) and no names on the list.
I will submit a request to FamilySearch with usernames and helper numbers and see what they have to say.

Question: WHAT about, "Possible" DUPLICATES; and/or, RECENT "Merges"/"Combines"?
You did not advise on that; as, to whether or not, that had any bearing on things ...
Just curious ...

One of the two did indicate there was possible duplicate messages, but did not themselves do any merging. So possibly happened on the other end of the duplicates - another person working on the same names.
The other person recalls no warnings about duplicates, but I noted to them that does not mean they didn’t come up after these names were placed on the reservations list. The odd thing about the second person now, is that their names did have partial ordinances completed, and now the names are no longer showing on the reservations list, BUT, when looked at in the tree, or personal details, these persons show no ordinances completed. So my thought here is, whoever did the merge on the other end, maintained the ID that did not have ordinances done, deleted the ID that did show ordinances completed, and did not select to have those ordinance details incorporated into their ID person.
As we often have to say, it may take a ‘Millennium’ to sort out some of these issues! 😊
So the answer to the question, is Yes, it is very likely in my first case that Duplicates and Merges may have caused the issue, but we are unable to determine which names were effected. And in the second case, it appears this may also be the issue, but here we do know which names disappeared from the reservations list, and can see an issue with lost progression of the ordinance work.
It has been recommended to me in the past , for disappearing ordinances, if you are 100% certain it was done, don’t fret too much about it, as it will be recorded where it counts. Or, if not 100% sure, do, or have them done again. Unfortunately under current circumstances, this is not so easy to make happen.

If ordinances disappear I would definitely recommend contacting FamilySearch Support. They have tools to check ordinances.
They also have tools to see Reservations Lists.
Sometimes, Support may ask for proof that an ordinance was done, namely a stamped temple card. But sometimes they can uncover the ordinances without that.

'Thank You' for that update ...
That is ODD ...
As an aside ...
Just my thoughts ...
As far as I was aware ...
[ Well, this is the way it USED TO BE ... ]
A User/Patron DOES NOT get ANY option regarding "Temple" Work when it comes to "Merging"/"Combining".
When a "Merge"/Combine" is effected/actioned the "Temple" Work is AUTOMATICALLY carried across to the "Surviving" individual/person; and, it is the OLDEST (ie. EARLIEST) "Temple" Work that is RETAINDED.
As to ... 'fretting' ...
It is NOT a matter of 'fretting' ...
It IS a MATTER of whether or not the "System" is working properly ...
[ There may be a FAULT/FLAW that needs fixing/addressing ... ]
As such ...
I WOULD definitely have those two User/Patron, each, submit a "Support" Case for investigation.
And, also, just to 'cover all bases', I would ALSO raise the MATTER in the "Ideas" (ie. 'Feedback' for 'FamilySearch') Section, now in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
Possibly under the "Category" of "Family Tree" (but, also maybe, "General User Interface"; and/or, "Other").
It may turn out be be a non-issue ...
But ...
That said ...
You never know ... better to be safe, than sorry ...
And ...
They may have just 'stumbled' across something (ie. a Problem/Issue) that is NEW, that was CAUSED by some RECENT "Change" to the "System" (ie. "Programme").
Again, Just my thoughts ...
