Land Record - Karl Kimla
Karl Kimla is listed in the Sedlcany land records (serf list) at House 256. He was born in 1809, but other than that, I'm not exactly sure what to make of this record. Was he himself a serf or did he own land where other's farmed? If I want to track down if/where this house was/is located in Sedlcany, where would be a good place to start? I looked at Google Maps and came across this house that has 256 on it - is it possible this was their house:

Thank you for providing the attached documents. Yes, houses in Czech Republic have kept their original numbers, indicating the order in which they were built. It is almost sure this is the house you are looking for, even the architecture indicates its age.
Serfdom in Austria was officially abolished in 1781, therefore Karl Kimla wasn't a serf, corvée continued to exist until 1848, meaning people had to provide a certain amount of compulsory work.
His wife Anna wass born in 1812, son Johann in 1837, another son, whose name I cannot decipher, in 1839, daughters Anna in 1834 and Theresia in 1841.
Unfortunately I cannot read the note above his name. Hopefully someone can help you with the rest, if necessary.

Appreciate your insight and assistance translating the serf record. From my records, I believe their 2nd son was Josef, born in 1839.
On this record, there is another family listed below at House #256. Would they have been living with the Kimla family or were they there before or after them? I don't believe they were Frantiska's family (Hron) as they were living in Solopysky. I've been researching family history for awhile, but I'm new to researching Czech records and their customs.
Did families move around a lot in the city? In 1849 their son Carolus was born and they are listed as living at house #125.
