How Do You Display Your Ancestor Treasures
This is my father and the medals he received during his service in the Asianic Pacific Campaign during WWII. I put these in a shadow box to display them. In the past, I have shared these to be displayed at my children's middle school during Veteran's Day.
What are some of the ways you display your family treasures?

I have a shadow clear shadow box that hangs on my wall with small items displayed in it with the name of the person that it belonged to. also sometimes a bit of history. For example a small watch in one cubicle has a tag that says given to Eunice J Hall Larson by her husband Roy on their first Christmas. Another is a thimble that was Jenny E Hall.
Another way we display family treasures is on an old trunk . The trunk was my immigrant grandfathers and the items on top of it were my father-in laws. Chaps, bridle, along with a picture of him.
I have a framed hand embroidery item that in under glass and in the holes of the piece my mother put the pictures of the great grandmother who did the embroidery and her husband.

Here is a different kind of ancestor display issue. I have a dining room set my grandparents acquired either the late 30's or early 40's. You can see a photo of it here: https://www.familysearch.org/photos/artifacts/116702054?cid=mem_copy .
Several great grandparents of mine were the initial generation to have dinner at it, and now that I have a grandson and my husband's niece has a son, those two boys are the 7th generation to eat at it. It is so out of style for young people these days, and I'm trying to figure out how to make it precious.

@Gail S Watson What a beautiful dining room set and such an heirloom. I am so impressed how well it has been taken care of. What a priceless piece of furniture with past memories and now future ones. I love the picture of you holding one of you from your toddler age with your great grandmother and this same chair. Priceless.
