Litoměřice Archive Website guide
I just wanted to share a guide that I created for how to navigate the website of the Litoměřice State Regional Archive (Státní oblastní archiv v Litoměřicích). It also includes examples & tips for those who may be new to searching for their Bohemian and Czech ancestors, regardless of which archives their ancestors' records are found in. Hope it's helpful! https://bohemiangenealogist.blogspot.com/2021/03/litomerice-archive-website-guide.html

Stephanie,
As a follow up to your guide on the Litomerice Archives, I have a question. When you paging through a Litomerice registers, page by page, is there a way you can keep the zoom and position you have set so that you don't have to reset your zoom and position on each page? I have done some research in the Prague Regional Archives and it has a "Keep Zoom" and "Keep Position" which allows you to keep your rate of zoom and the position (top, bottom, right left) from page to page.
Thank you again for the excellent guide on the Litomerice Archives.

Thanks for all that you contribute to our community - it is such a helpful resource! I did find the two new links you added so I can verify this next week that they moved over. Enjoy today, Cindy

Hi Lewis,
I wasn't sure about this, so I just went and took a look, and it looks like there is a way to do that: So if you are in one of the books, there are two symbols on the menu across the top of the screen: one that looks like an eye [it says 'store location' if you hover your mouse over it], and another one that is an eye that has been crossed out [this one says 'delete position' if you hover over it]. I tried it out, and if you zoom in to your desired position and then click the eye symbol, it pops up with a window confirming that you want to zoom in, and you press "ok." Then you'll stay at that same zoom setting on each page you click on. Then if you want to go back to the full zoomed out image agin, just click the symbol of the crossed out eye. (And to think, all these years I've been zooming in and out on every page). Thanks for helping me learn a better way to do this!

This is a wonderful hint. I have been doing each page manually. You should add this to your instructions please.
