Surnames of Whowell and Viton
Hello everyone! My GG Grandparents Peter Viton and Elizabeth Whowell marriage record states the place of marriage was Saint Thomas, Stepney, London, England. Elizabeth Whowell is currently my focus! With assistance of England Research Consultation was able to acquire Elizabeth Whowell 1834 baptism record from Parish of St George, Middlesex county. Would anyone know of any further info on Elizabeth or the Whowell surname?

The couple you referred to are my current focus. I'm confused with the 4th quarter 1862 death record on Peter Viton because I found him and Elizabeth with children in the 1871 England census. I didn't realize until you listed info from my family tree that I need to fix details so it's more clear. Would you know of any London resources to research for death record of Elizabeth Whowell? I've tried the BMD index with no luck.

Her death would not be listed in the British records since the family emigrated to the US in 1872.
She is not listed with the family in the 1880 US census, so she my have died in the US in the interim.

I believe this is her death record. The name and place match, she is married and from England
