Patricia OSullivan. email: kildimo7@sbcglobal.net. My paternal grandparents were OConnor/Ryan. That same Ryan clan married into BOTH sides of my maternal side, thus making my research extremely difficult. It doesn't help matters that my OConnor/Ryan grandparents were somehow already related prior to marriage. I did Ancestry and 23andme DNA tests, also on FTDNA, Myheritage and Gedmatach. I tried the Leeds Method to separate the networks, no luck. When we originally got our Gedmatch results, a message saying "if you need help, please contact CeCe Moore". We tried that in the past but we know that she is very busy working on important unsolved murder cases. My hat is off to her. But I sure would appreciate some idea as to how to separate my family and break my Ryan brick wall William Ryan (1847-1931) originally from Tipperary then moved to Limerick. He married Catherine Maher in Limerick and had 7 children. I know my cousins in Ireland, and I am at that point that my cousins think I have more family knowledge than they do there in LImerick. Any help would be most welcome.

I really think your question would best be answered @Genetic Genealogy Research because without a location it is difficult to pinpoint where the Ryan and OConnor famlies might have been and where to locate records. Good luck. (And be sure to check out all the wonderful DNA classes from RootsTechConnect 2021!)
