Hello! I've made a spreadsheet index of the Trebic death records book, 10972 Třebíč - město (Sv.Mart
I'd love to share it with other researchers. Is there a good way to do that? The birth and marriage records in that area have written indexes, but not the death records. I found that it was very challenging to use it without an index, and even though I had gone through it several times, I still found death records for a number of ancestors in the process of making my spread sheet.

Hi Joanna,
That's great that you created that index. My family & I have done the same thing in some of our ancestral hometowns -- it can be a big job, but is so helpful! I'm not aware of a widely-used genealogical website (such as familysearch.org) that publishes indexes compiled completely by researchers. If anyone else here in the community is aware of such sites, that would be a great resource to learn about.
But in the case that you don't find anything like that, I do have a relatively new Bohemian/Czech Genealogy blog where I have posted some information to help new researchers, and I've also posted some spreadsheets with some indexes that my father created for one of our ancestral villages, Merzlitz (now Mrzlice). Because it is a newer blog and I'm still working on creating content for it, it doesn't get anywhere near the number of readers that many other well-known genealogy websites do. But, my main purpose in including the Merzlitz indexes on the blog was so they would be out there for any other researchers in that town to benefit from all the hard work that my father put into compiling the indexes. I just double checked, and if anyone were to happen to type either "Merzlitz index," "Mrzlice index," or "Merzlitz marriage records" into a google search, my blog happens to be the top result. And it's one of the top couple of results if they were to type in "Merzlitz genealogy." So I'm pleased to know that if someone were to search, they would likely be able to access this resource.
Anyway, if you don't find a better option to share your index publicly, I'd be happy to share it on my genealogy blog (giving you the full credit for all the work you've done to create it, of course). Just let me know. Thanks!

I'd love to add it to your blog! Because it is for the Parish of Trebic, Trebic also being the region, it should get a decent amount of search hits. Hopefully those that need it will be able to find it. I just finished final edits and standardizing place names so it is ready to go. If you would like to Email me, my addy is jjjhks4@yahoo.com
