I'm wondering about the Sarcee Indian Tribe?
My family is from the Turtle Mountain Chippewa in North Dakota. They migrated from the Red River in Canada and were Metis for generations. I have a 3rd great grandmother Marguerite Sarcee #K4TT-1MP from St. Boniface, Manitoba.

Since their tribal boundaries now primarily reside in the Canadian region, you may have to look into the archives that country keeps for its first nation people. If I cannot point you in some direction, you can also reach out to @Canada ~ Events & Research group here in the Community to inquire about piecing together ancestral records in Canada.

Sarcee, can also be spelled Sarsi. Their self-name is Tsuu T’ina, North American Plains Indians of Athabaskan linguistic stock who lived in the 18th and 19th centuries near the upper Saskatchewan and Athabaska rivers in the present provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan, Can. They probably moved southward to this region near the end of the 17th century when they became the northern neighbours of the Blackfoot peoples, from whom they received some protection from enemies.
Since they were allies with the Blackfoot people, you might be able to find records of them by expanding your research there. I know my ancestors had dealings with the Blackfeet when we were settling in Idaho. I should share some of those accounts here (although they are not always pleasant ones unfortunately).

thanks for the suggestion of looking into the Blackfeet. I have done very little research about the Sarci so was just putting feelers out to the group. I will also contact them directly since I do have a paper trail to the Metis line. I appreciate your quick response! Rhonda
