Record of Manoel Rodriques Homem was married on 5 Jun 1848. It seems he married Maria Bernarda do Rosario. I'm having trouble reading the names of their parents: filha legitimo de Mel Garcia de Mello and Anna do Rozario (are these Bernarda' s parents? ) Filho legitimo de Je? Roiz? Homem (can you help me read this name?) and Bernarda do Rosario. Could anyone help me read this? Casam. Sao Mateus 1846-1860, p. 20-21

Well, I'll give it a try, but I hope someone will add more than I can do. I think one of the most interesting items in this doc is that they are related and needed a dispensation which they received. There is so much info regarding the dispensation that it kind of muddles up the other info being extracted easily. after the banns were read on three festival days, it says "descubrimento algun impedimento __?? de 3 grados de consanguinidade." [It was discovered that there was an impediment of three degrees of consanguinity. ] They received a dispensation by the officials named of the diocese. They were likely first cousins which is important info to your research. Apparently the mothers were sisters according to names of parents given.
I believe you have the correct bride's parents names. The father of the groom appears to be Jose Rocio. "Je" I believe is the abbreviation for Jose here. Rocio is poorly written so I'd love to hear another opinion on that too.
I hope that helps!

Manoel Rodrigues Homem. His parents were Jose Rodrigues Homem and Bernarda do Rosario, both natives of the above said parish. Maria Bernarda do Rosario. Her parents are Manoel Garcia de Mello and Anna do Rosario. Third degree of consanguinity means the bride and groom share a common great-grandparent.
