Question about film search records
Hello, does anyone know here, if I should be able to see search results ,If make search for film records which have this magnifying glass, but the actual records are marked with camera and (lock) key in above it. Im not church member. I asked this from FS chat support but the person didint know it.

IF, the 'Format' (on the 'left-hand-side) is a "Camera", WITH a "Key", Icon; THEN, it generally (but, not always) means that the "Film", is "Restricted"; and, the Film may:
(1) be accessible/viewable through an 'External' (Partner) Website
..... [ where 'Fees' may apply ]; or,
(2) be accessed/viewed [ by anyone ], at a "Family History Centre" of the Church, around the World (or, sometimes; but, not always, an "Affiliate" Library, around the World) [ for FREE ].

IF, you select that "Camera", WITH a "Key", Icon; THEN, then there will be a 'Message' advising you where/how you can access/view the Film.

ps: A "Film Reel" Icon, generally means that a Film may ONLY be accessed/viewed at the "Family History Library" (FHL), of the Church, in 'Temple Square' in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - But, there may be other "Restrictions'.

This is it https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/389975?availability=Family History Library , I know I cant see the actual records, but should I be able to make searches and see the search results? If I try to search something It says no results.

It looks like those records will need to be viewed at the Family History Library. I am no expert, but that is what it looks like to me. they should mark those somehow better, now its confusing when there is that magnifying glass and it says no results, when ´there is results but you cant see them. Why there isnt that lock key above magnifying glass.
