Agerola records from 1815-1860 are available in Antenati. They are not digitally indexed so you need to browse records (and maybe handwritten indexes) year by year.

Hello, and thank you. No Italian.
Picture 3, Line 26, has a Nicoli Brancati - would that be picture 70 or page 70 to find the actual record? thanks

I'm sorry, no italian. What have you sent me? thank you

No that's not it. The second column has the parents (genitori) - Pascale and someone else. I found the record for you below, in 1843.

It's the record you're looking for. Nicola Maria Roberto Brancati born 27 Jan 1843 to Carlo Brancati, 39, property owner, and Gabriele Avitabile, 26.

Okay, I have another question. According to the marriage record for Carlo and Gabriela, he was 37 (abt (1803) and she was 24 (abt 1816). Where would I find Carlo's birth record, and would Gabriela's be on the Antenati site? Thank you
Image 51, could you please translate for me?

1803 precedes civil registration. However, the 1840 marriage processetti files (http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/v/Archivio+di+Stato+di+Napoli/Stato+civile+della+restaurazione+comuni+della+provincia/Agerola/Matrimoni+processetti/1840/) should have a copy of his baptismal record. I'll take a look; they can be hard to navigate as they generally aren't indexed. Gabriele's should be in Antenati 1815/1816 Agerola birth folders but there should also be in the processetti.

Here is an extract of his baptismal record in Latin.
Baptized 29 March 1803 at the Church of Santa Maria la Manna in Agerola. Born the same day to Matteo Brancati (son of deceased Giuseppe) and Lucia Loritano. Baptismal name Carlo Maria Alfonso Maurizio Raimondo Serapio. Godmother Dorotea Ferraiolo. Pastor Biaggio Villani.

Also included in the marriage processetti are:
- Copy of the death record of Matteo Brancati, father of the groom, who died 6 Sep 1822, age 77 (original at 1822 death record #35)
- Extract of church death record of Giuseppe Brancati, son of deceased Giovanni, paternal grandfather of the groom, who died 11 May 1774 age about 60, and was buried at the Church of Santa Maria La Manna
- Consent of the groom's mother to the marriage
- Return from the pastor of San Matteo Apostolo that the church ceremony was conducted on 30 Jun 1840

Wow, you have just blown me away with all of this info. You have just provided me with multiple generations that I thought I would not be able to find. Just so I understand correctly, Giuseppe is the father of Matteo? Giovanni is Giuseppe's father?
Thank you so much !!!

Correct. So the generations from oldest to youngest are:
- Giovanni
- Giuseppe (c1714-1774)
- Matteo (c1745-1822)
- Carlo (1803-)
- Nicola (1843-)

- Giovanni
- Giuseppe (c1714-1774)
- Matteo (c1745-1822) Lucia Loritan
- Carlo (1803-) Maria Gabriela Raffeala Avitabile (1816-)
- Nicola (1843-1909) Teresa Lucchesi (1852-1935) St Mary's Cemetery NJ Plainfield
Again, I am truly appreciative and thankful for all your help!! Is it possible in the info that you provided there would be the wives names of Giuseppe and Giovanna? If not, I understand.
Also, in the archives are there any pictures ie - "Church of Santa Maria la Manna"
Thank you

No spouses mentioned; you're quite fortunate that Giuseppe's death record mentioned anyone else at all - church death records tend to be very sparse for adults and usually don't mention parents and often don't mention spouses either.
Regarding pictures, I would do a Google search for "Chiesa di Santa Maria La Manna Agerola". There appear to be a few websites (including the comune of Agerola) with pictures, as well as a couple of Facebook groups dedicated to the church.

Well then I guess I was very fortunate to be able to go back that far.......
Thanks for the advise, and will google the church for some pictures.
